Platform Background Introduction#
OKX (formerly known as OKEX), founded by former Douyin Technology Director Xu Mingxing in 2017, is a leading global digital asset trading platform. Similar to industry giant Binance, the platform initially set its operational center in Beijing, China, but has since relocated its headquarters to the Seychelles due to adjustments in domestic digital currency policies.
In 2021, as domestic regulatory policies tightened, several digital asset service providers gradually ceased services for Chinese users. During this period, OKX issued a policy statement for mainland China, announcing the withdrawal of its domestic offices, but the platform's services remain accessible to Chinese users. As of now, Chinese users can still register and use various functions through official channels.
This article will provide a complete guide to platform registration and operation, offering practical references for investors in need.
